Snip-Snap! is a free screenshot and annotation tool for Windows. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect (very little) and how we handle it.
Snip-Snap! does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. Specifically:
All screenshots, annotations, and settings remain entirely on your local machine.
The Snip-Snap! website (snip-snap.com) uses Google Ads conversion tracking to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. This may use cookies to track page visits and conversions. No personally identifiable information is collected through this tracking.
The Snip-Snap! installer is hosted on Microsoft Azure Blob Storage. When you download the installer, your IP address may be logged by Azure as part of standard web server operations. We do not access or use this data for any purpose.
Issues and feature requests can be submitted through the Help menu in the application. By default, all reports are anonymous — only your description and optional screenshot is sent.
If you'd like to be notified when your specific issue is resolved, a Hardware ID (a unique identifier for your machine) is included with your report. This allows us to track the issue back to your machine so you can receive an update when a fix is available.
The Hardware ID is not shared with any third parties and is used only for issue tracking and resolution.
Snip-Snap! does not integrate with or send data to any third-party services. The application works entirely offline.
Snip-Snap! does not collect any data from any users, including children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, please reach out via the Help menu in the Snip-Snap! application.
